ECAT Test Preparation Tips & Guide for applying process
Introduction
College of Engineering Entrance Examination ECAT is mandatory for graduation must be treated in a technical college. ECAT prescribed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (ECP). Candidate seeking admission to engineering college / university should appear in the ECAT, entrance examinations for admission to a degree.ECAT program is based on the physics of the four subjects, chemistry, mathematics and English by the FSC. Pre-Engineering or equivalent. This test is divided into four sections.
Test different models depending on the criteria established by each university and college.

The application form will be presented with the following attachments.
Domicile certificate with photograph.
Computerized National Identity Card or Form B of NADRA computerized.
Certificate, Diploma or Degree of all examinations on the basis of which admission is sought (ie, SARC, Diploma of Associate Engineer, B.Sc., B.Tech. (Pass) or equivalent).
Detailed Marks Certificates.
6 recent passport size photographs.
Applicants with foreign equivalent qualifications (eg A-levels) must obtain a certificate of equivalence of IBCC
If you are applying against seats reserved for the Children of Overseas Pakistanis must submit the following documents:
An employment certificate (in Form-VIII) of the applicant's parents / guardian in a foreign country issued by the Embassy of Pakistan in that country. Form-VIII can be downloaded from our website or can be obtained from the office of the undersigned.
A photocopy of an immigrant visa applicant's parent / guardian, accredited by the Pakistan Embassy in that country.
Special Note:
- Submit your admission application form in the center where you want to appear in the test.
- You have to show your original documents while submitting your application form.
- No application form would be submitted which is sent by post or courier.
- When you are applying for UET entry test, follow these guidelines.
Remember your password and tracking number to be used in future to re-examine the results and print your order.
Be careful when choosing the secondary subject groups. All DAE / B. Tech candidates simply choose a combination of subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English).
By filling out the form, you must be careful to provide the same information in the registration certificate and others.
After saving the form can not be edited again, so be careful about it and verify all information provided before saving.

Eligibility Criteria
In general, candidates who have passed or appeared in the intermediate, BSc, DAE, B. Tech (pass) or other equivalent examination are eligible to apply entrance exams.
Applicants with the following topics may appear in the Intermediate of ECAT,
- Physics, Mathematics, English and Chemistry
- Physics, Mathematics, English and Computer Science
- Physics, Mathematics, English and Statistics
ECAT proof applicable to the same session. You have already arisen in the colleges of engineering entrance exams and pass the exam, but if for some problems that can not be obtained in a technical school or college then you must remove the engineering entrance exam again next year to get admission in engineering college / university.
How to Prepare ECAT Test
To appear in the ECAT that should appear in the test medium. Review ECAT taken based on the four subjects of physics, chemistry, mathematics, English, computer science and statistics. Test patterns based on the criteria decided by the respective Universities and Colleges.
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English is the standard format in the ECAT. However, the contents of the UK differ from one university to another. As an example format for UET Lahore is different from the ECAT ECAT format NUST.
